2) Do not invest lumpsum in any fund . Put in a liquid fund and start stp . You get the benefit of rupee cost avg
3) Do not blindly trust the funds shown in websites (the companies pay for advertising). Get a professional who might charge you a little fee or none who can help you in allocating your funds based on a particular goals
