I drive on highways a lot and one thing I realised is higher speed make you prone for such rash situations on time to time.
Few suggestions in this video situation
1. Keep a good distance from the ongoing traffic
2. Always concentrate on the road and not on devices inside vehicle so that you reduce speed with ease and not harshly(since you had a good gap here)
3. Don't take a sudden left of right turn from the vehicle to maintain speed as a codriver may jump in on you from behind.
4. Don't use cruise control on high traffic highways
5. It's india and we have the stupidest bike drivers driving in the middle of road at 40kmpl and not giving a damn about cars and they will take a sharp left or right SO ALWAYS KEEP HONKING UNTIL THEY HEAR.
