The last hit for Varun Dhawan was Sui Dhagga back in 2018 and if I remember he had 0 flops in his career but after Sui Dhaaga he did not give a single hit at the BO. Why do you think this happened?
His voice and child like acting. I don’t see a mature man in him. He may be apt for the college love stories but they are not being made these days. He looks funny in serious roles, laughable when crying. His hody language doesn’t enthuse confidence anymore. He could do well in a Bhedia or comedy of errors kinda, but certainly stay away from his dad’s remakes. Govinda must sure be happy.
He is a good actor though. October worked because of a tight script. He did good in that too. Loved that movie still. -

Ricky Gervais has a great bit from the Golden Globes, telling actors what to do when they receive their awards. More actors should heed that direction. -

Why is there no global lost and found with a viable business model? I will not promote.
The concept of lost and found is inherently local. Things of high monetary value, often times get taken. Things of low monetary value typically sit in a box for a while before it’s thrown away or in the best case, donated. Things of high sentimental value, but low monetary value, is where lost and found really shines, but the system works well for those cases. Because of that, I think monetizing an idea like this would be incredibly difficult but not as difficult as compelling local communities, that are often times very budget constrained, to engage in an app for this problem. Sticking the items in a box next to the front desk, is a good enough solution. -

Bangalore IT Flat Layoffs
If you buy a flat worth crores then you have to stick to your job no matter what it takes. In my last company I knew some such people who became total boot lickers and completely sold their dignity for this reason. I felt bad looking at their condition. Some got on site positions but these days it’s very difficult to save money if you live in US coasts or Western Europe. Middle East imo is a better option if you’re looking to pay off the debt sooner. Either ways, once you sign the loan papers, your quality of life and peace of mind is gonna suck. So think what you really want from life before taking a huge step. You have 60-70 years of liveable years only.
One thing I really don’t understand is how prices are increasing despite weak demand. According to CBRE, more than 70% Bangaloreans can’t afford their own home here. Approx 25,000 flats remain unsold in this city. Then how is price increasing? Why would someone pay 1.8Cr inflated value for a used flat when he has several new options for the same or even lesser price? That is something to think about too. Ultimately you have limited time and money on this earth. Make the most of it. Do whatever and buy whatever you want. But don’t just follow some herd only to get trapped. -
