Ever since Bank Nifty weekly expiry is gone, volumes in Bank Nifty has plunged by 90% perhaps liquidity is now getting shifted to Nifty and Midcap Nifty, also from the trend that Banks are not giving much moves. Or maybe since anticipation was that consumption will get boost and capex growth would moderate, FIIs made hedging bets in derivative contract along with churning in portfolio.

Overall since volumes in options have declined significantly. Midcaps' liquidity may look rising in relative terms and I believe such trend would become a norm going forward. Risk Reward is now skewed towards risks and trading requires more accuracy than before. In such scenario Nifty > Nifty Midcap > Bank Nifty in order of liquidity preference. If banks start to move, we may see change again.

All this based off recent trends and current month. The further you go in months (near month, far month),liquidity in general is kesser in them compared to current month. Plan your trades accordingly.

Summary - Liquidity has come down in general in big way. Order of liquidity preference Nifty> MidcpNifty>BankNifty. Don't expect wave to get your triggers ordered. Set lower targets and get out quickly when in profits because low liquidity = higher spreads. Risk reward is lower than before.

I think it is normal to feel the need for a change, unless someone is doing exceptional ground work that is affecting lives in masses.. politicians tend to give up on working after every few years.. getting into comfort zones.. these kind of setbacks keep the engine running at least and get that little bit of work done on ground level that they do.

My dad said back in the day when he took licence (35 year ago or so) , the driving aashan's main objective was to make you learn how to drive

But when I took my licence last year all I can say is that these guys just want people to pass nothing else, I had some other people with me coming for driving classes as well , they knew no shit about how to drive properly on road but somehow got the licence
