TBH even many marathi are not interested in marathi language. If you'll checkout the enrollment in BA/MA addmissions, very few of them are doing it from Marathi. Even Hindi honours and English honour students are more in maharashtra. I know it is a hard pill to swallow but learning Hindi and English opens more job opportunities. Gen Z's grammar of marathi is horrible and they mix English and Hindi into it. On academic level Marathi is getting weaker...
