Things are more expensive nowadays, and the pay hasn’t really risen, so Gen z expect more. Especially when they leave a cheaper town and go live in expensive city



Gen z are aware of better laws in other countries restricting workers to 8hrs, or overtime pay etc so we think Indian companies will behave the same (LOL)



Gen z parents were more open with what course or career path they took in college, only to realize it was difficult to get a job in said field so the gen z kid got whatever job he got, which wasn’t in his or her field. Now they aren’t motivated because they are working in something unrelated to what they studied or dreamt of
