Is it considered a flex for Indians to immigrate to Western countries?
Ask them how is the financial system over there. And ask if they can pay with phone 🤣.
Before any guy comes here and says that I am a nationalist for saying this. Yes germany is advanced , due to less population, clean air and better infrastructure.
Yes i have been outside of India and lived abroad. So I know.
To answer your question , just ignore the lady. Or you migrate and ask your mom to flex it. -
Should we start using Yumnak as surnames for newborns in our family instead of Singha or Devi in Meitei culture? What are your thoughts on this?
No, having different names doesn't cause problems in documentation or any other legal matter. I too have a different surname from my parents, never had a problem, even in case of inheritance. My Dad had a typical Assamese surname while I was named after my gotra and my mum has always kept her maiden surname. So we 3 have three different surnames.
As an indigenous Assamese Hindu, I think Meiteis should acknowledge and celebrate their pre Hindu roots and keep their Meitei surnames for greater alignment with their culture. There's no dearth of Singha/devi and all those typical hindu surnames throughout India but there's a different beauty and uniqueness to the cultural surnames that each north eastern culture/community has. -

Is it possible for a Hindu God to be reincarnated as a human right now?
In the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, three types of gunas are mentioned. If a person has a high sattva guna, they may appear divine. This has happened to many, but when you truly understand the Bhagavad Gita, you realize that all of us are divine and manifestations of a singular entity—hence, in our purest form, we are interconnected and one. -

He incarnates from time to time. His next avatar will be Kalki avatar, who has not yet appeared. -

Metro ridership falls by 10%, BMRCL rules out rationalisation of fare slabs
More traffic on the roads. I have no clue what their goal is, but they are making people's lives miserable. Special transit corridors, blocking the road for VIPs etc. should be completely banned. Only if they face this traffic will they do something about it. Till then, common man suffers while the babus live in blissful ignorance. -

Just like capitalism, people also thought in old days that kings and nobles were essential to functioning of society. We transitioned to democracy in political system but not in our economic system
1. Kings and Nobles were essential to function back in time.
2. No one in sane mind thinks capitalism is necessary. It's just, we don't have any option right now.
3. Netherlands and many country have socialism.
4. India is not 100% capitalist country either.
