Mostly because of their ASS. They are incompetent at best.
I got on the make in India bandwagon during the COVID era and switched my figo for a Tiago.
The first year was pretty niggle free, second year onwards the car started having electrical problems, it got so bad the car would suddenly switch into creep mode with all the warning lights turning on,
This happened multiple times, once while on the highway and it happens abruptly.
The issue would fix itself if the car was left alone for an hour or so.
The tata ASS were clueless,
The first time they couldn't find any issues and they did a general service.
The second time I consulted them for the same issue they cleaned the wires and fuel lines.
By this point I had already faced the issue around 6 times.

I took the car to a local ex tata mechanic run workshop, he fixed the issue in a day and never faced the issue again.

Let me add a few more to the list
1. Thak thak gang scam: In middle of heavy traffic people will come knocking your window claiming you drove over their feet, they will be angry and furious and you'll be shit scared. The moment you roll down your window further to understand, they'll flick your phone and valuables and run away.
2. Never ever engage with Kinnars on road, it starts with 50 bucks leading to 500 on pretext of something else.
