The new ratings are a bit biased towards modern tech IMO. According to me, the most fundamental and basic requirement is the bodyshell integrity and airbags. Rest all comes after that. And the older gen Amaze got stable bodyshell during the crash test and also the new one gets six airbags. So I'd say that's good enough on my books.

Now comes the important part. The 1.2 iVtec is miles ahead of the new 3 pot on dzire. Add to that the Honda CVT is anyday better than an AMT. It's a no Brainer to pick an Amaze. Yes, mileage will be slightly lower than the dzire but the pros of that engine+gearbox is way too big to ignore. So for personal use I'd recommend Amaze over dzire anyday.
