It's not sad. Even the cleanest European countries use tactics like this. I believe Germany introduced the concept. The sad part is that we haven't implemented these tactics yet. Tried Ayurvedic treatment from Ananya ayurvedic centre few years ago for face acne and the results were okayish, a really long course which is really not worth the costs. Acne resolved eventually but the process was really annoying, various face packs, facials, etc. A lot of work and time was invested to get only 50-60% of the result I wanted.

I won’t recommend it for a skin disease simply because your disease could need a cure that is more than just diet and lifestyle management.

Ayurvedic clinics focuses more on your diet and really basic things. Also most of those treatments are just hit and trial.
Please refer to a dermatologist for any disease be it a simple grade 1 Acne or a severe pathological disease.

There’s two dermatologists - Sandeep Agrawal and Dr Rajashree (Lokmat square) both with good results.
