It’s really hard to save images from Instagram. Screen shots work. Some websites have started changing their images from jpg and png to a format that is more difficult to open. Try the right click thing above. Or below. It moved!

Edit. To do a screenshot Shift-Command-3 does the whole screen. Shift-Command-4 gives you a crosshair to click and drag over the area you want. When you release it saves the screenshot to your desktop.

I sounds like you saved the actual web page using the “save” dialog in the browser. What it saved are all of the files that make up the page, including the html (this defines the page structure and text content), css (the layout), js (these are JavaScript scripts - basically little programs that will run in response to user actions) as well as images. 

If you want to just save an image, right click (or control click) on the image to bring up the contextual menu and select “save image”.

I don't know much, but SuperDuper had some [stuff break](https://www.shirtpocket.com/blog/index.php/shadedgrey/comments/youre_a_mean_one/) in the last patch which had to do with the MacOS replication functions. Could be couple of reasons but i think its either due to pressure build up inside the car and the windshield had a stress tear or something that led to its breaking
