Under RTE the school is responsible for providing them with school shoes, bags, books, stationary, etc. You should go to the local District Education Officer or go to SCERT-Pune & ask them how can you avail of these funds. If they are not provided these things, the govt is violating their constitutional right to education.

I'm so fed up of this. What are we paying our taxes for? & then also run around looking for donation for something that you've already paid to the govt.

Depends if you want to travel in the local or you want to stay nearby to the office. Commute in the rains is going to be very chaotic but staying nearby in 20k is not very doable. If you share a your space w someone, it would be easier, cheaper and you could get much more amenities. Worli, Prabhadevi are good options but if you want to get a cheaper place and don’t want to live too far Mahim or Chinchpokli maybe?
