Tax money goes into good admin , roads and infrastrcuture elsewhere. People have some civic sense on how to maintain self and surroundings in public place.

Key is - do you actually love the guy and does he see you as a friend and trusted partner ? If you can’t answer this , then you are just discussing a transaction which is not worth it . 90% is your trust in your bond as friends . Careers can be easily made if your partner is right anywhere in the world .
