For your question: uber and rapido are available at 5 AM/ 5:30 AM. If you are around the Tvm center area (Palayam etc) you will get ride no hassle. Though I do get cabs and autos at 5 5:30ish for airport railway station rides from Vattiyoorkavu area.

I found it to be a great balance of modern infrastructure and pleasant vibes . The weather is the only problem imo . The city never feels overcrowded or loud , the food is quite good , people are fine . Roads are paved well , footpaths are relatively clean
