So I've had a fortuner for the last 15 odd years, the first batch of fortuners to come. It is a beast, absolutely no issues so far, done close to 3 lakh KM and no issues at all. Mileage is pretty decent, the original ones were all time 4 wheel drive, despite of that getting 10 kmpl. It has lasted and saved us during 3 major floods, cyclones and calamities. The way I see it is like floodgates. You open them and then with the good community people, ones who were on the internet before free Jio, you bring along the plethora of embarrassing ones to it too.
