It was the lack of appreciation that the good films received, films like tamasha, pink, piku and many more where never asked much appreciated as any random ass mass masala movie you see these days, we used to compare bollywood with Hollywood and after failing to be close to their standards for years we were making great slice of life films and a few good rom coms (all of these were orignal as far as I know) and at the same time we thought of south indian movies as just some bs that we can joke about everything changed after baahubali and then we started to copy south more or try to become like south which we can never achieve because their cinema is something we have grown up making fun of now suddenly it's all cool and we want to mimic it just because these films are blockbusters 🤠
