Well its a great thing you want to open business in Bihar. I too am in the same boat, worked for 3 years in Mumbai but now contemplating moving back after my completing my mba. Most companies have ended wfh policy and I never understood the charm of these cities. But people in lower economic groups have no other options than to leave Bihar

The previous administrations which were run by a "bunch of boys" were too Mulayam on the law & order issue in UP.

People needed a strong man who tackles the law and order issues.

  10. Why have Pahadi women historically enjoyed freedom from purdah (veil), dowry pressure, gender segregation, and strict patriarchy, unlike women in many other parts of India (including our neighbours) where these were oppressive?

    4 months
probably the fact that naturally pahadi women share the workload with the men. While men would work out for jobs women would be going up to forest getting wood for fire, feeding cattle, cleaning , working in rice fields. I also believe there's a tribe in pithoragarh where women are the head of society.

All these evil practices began during the Dark Ages in Indian History. The Dark Ages started with the arrival of Islam in India.

Had Islamic invasion not happened, there is a high probability that such social evils would never have taken place.
