    I wish, nowadays it's more like you need to choose a ride as per the Indian Roads' personality.

    I'm not too tall and like big heavy bikes, absolutely love cruisers. To that tune I bought a bajaj avenger as my bike a few years back. Still have it and enjoy riding the bike, but bloody hell every bump and pothole goes through your soul. Now I'm on the lookout for a new bike but I'm not even considering cruisers because of how bad our roads are.

    I don't mind the weight, don't mind the turning radius or the fact that you can't zip through traffic, but I really can't deal with the potholes and I'm sure a higher displacement, heavier cruiser would just make it worse for me. That being said though, of course there's going to be some amount of preference that'll get baked into choosing the ride for you.
