People who wanna be Brahmin should be decided by their discipline not by surname. Brahmin should be only considered for those who preach vedas and shastras in right essence and don't adulterate it with nonsense.

What is use of jati anymore? Do we need to keep our bloodline pure? From who? Other hindus just cuz they are lower caste? Have we not seen what it leads to? You want Ambedkarites to prove our scriptures were wrong and Hinduism is all about jati.

It doesn't mean Varna never had its relevance. It was simply the hierarchy found in all other society. The problem began the day shudras lost acces to holy scriptures due to their low birth. Which is against the logic of why they are there.

A shudra is as important as Brahmin for society to run. A Brahmin should preach and guide shudra. But a shudra is still a person. If Asuras could touch vedas then shudras should too. Brahminism is not the essence of Hinduism.
