If you need to be a vfx artist, and I, as a somewhat experienced video editor never noticed it, I think it would be pretty hard to notice for most people unless they're actively looking for scenes to make examples out of. I don't feel like it impacted his performance in any way, I didn't even notice he wasn't looking into the other person's eyes because of the camera angle.
