Chinese trade surplus soars to an unprecedented $992 billion on pre-Trump exports - Times of India
A question no one seems to be asking is: how much of the exports were "dumping", i.e. heavily subsidized by CCP to be sold at below cost price. -
Ruins of the Residency
I consider *Residency* to be the most iconic monument in Lucknow, even though the Imambaras are architecturally more beautiful. Maybe it's because I have a soft spot for history.
It is maintained in good condition, however, these iconic ruins have not been spared from *X loves Y* scrawled on 19th century walls. To make it worse, atleast couple of folks were climbing the ruins and the guard had to continuously shout at them to follow the rules.
It's couple of kms from the nearest metro station [though road transport is better to go here] and atleast couple of foreign tourists were also admiring the ruins. -

Republicans Considering SNAP Benefit Cuts As Part Of Deficit Reduction Plan
In like fashion, 2 years ago I saved my friend's life. I got to her within hours of her impending demise, doctors said she wouldnt have made it through the night.
Medicaid saved her. The election rolls around and she is liberal but her whole family is MAGA.
She asks her mom one day, "Mom why are you voting for the person that would take away my healthcare?"
The mom mumbled something incoherent and changed the subject.
Votes for Trump over her own daughter's life.
My friend was in the ICU for 5 weeks. I bet that hospital bill was several hundred thousand. A first hand experience with life saving care provided by Medicaid, and she voted for cuts to that program for others.

having a social media presence
Absolutely not. None of the influencers you see are real. Everything they post is done by a character they have created. It would be exhausting having to always be âonâ in whatever persona you have made. -

The average tax payer pays like $59 a year in taxes for Food Stamps and like $3000 a year for corporate welfare.
How much does one person get on FoodStamps like $50 a week or so
Plus that money goes back into the economy, It helps farmers, grocery stores, and their employees, truckers, food producers and Billionaires (the Walmart family is the biggest benefactor of the program) -
