I will probably get downvoted to obliteration for saying this, but marriage is a social contract. People don't get married randomly - there are clear expectations from both sides. The woman expects the man to provide financially, and the man expects the woman to manage things at home. This is a partnership.
However these days, there is this new trend of women who don't work/don't earn much, and then also label household tasks as "oppressive" or somehow taking away their "freedom". Then frankly, what exactly do they bring to the table? Just an extra mouth for someone to feed and take care of for their entire life? Is this "bravery"?

If they are so protective of their freedom and bravery, they can simply choose not to get married. If there is family pressure, they can use their "freedom" to find a job and move out so that they are not forced to get married. It's that simple, but unfortunately feminism has made it much easier to complain than do anything real.
