Just adding my personal experience regarding contesting a challan.

I was issued one for "riding a motorcycle without a helmet". The photo was taken by one of those traffic enforcement mobile vans. The photo also clearly shows me parked in front of a restaurant with my helmet on the bike next to me. The challan was for Rs 500, but I didn't want to pay it out of principle, and the fact that I didn't want it on my record.

As soon as I got the notification, I rode around for an hour or more, looking for the mobile van, ended up talking to a few on-duty cops that told me to go to the Museum Police station and talk to the team in charge. I explained my situation to the officer in charge there, who contacted his superior and both agreed that the photo shows me as parked and stationary, and that I couldn't be driving the motorcycle. At the same time, I also got "jokingly" insulted by a different officer for wearing a LEVI's t-shirt and ripped jeans (alluding to the fact that they looked expensive?).

They made me write a letter addressed to the superior officer, explaining my side of things and asking for a dismissal of the ticket. I wrote and signed the letter, gave it to the officer and he assured me the ticket would be dismissed soon.

I waited two months, only to get a notification later on that my challan was due and I would be held liable for non-payment. I couldn't be bothered to go back to the station only be to poked at again and decided to just pay the fine.

TLDR: Went through the process, cops didn't follow through, ended up paying it anyway cause time > money.

As a youtube premium user, I get this a lot, everyone's vancing around I get it but I want to pay for the service I enjoy using a lot everyday(use yt and yt music a lot)

Again here too,many people wouldn't have even have used the Netflix app once and talk against using it

The Netflix UI and algorithm is simply amazing imo,it gets what I want to watch and half the movies/series I wouldn't have watched without the app's amazing algorithm

Btw it has a don't like, I like it and I loved it button on every title so you have to tune it to your liking

I also watch on TV too so it's a hassle to cast and pirate every single episode of a tv show or a movie there(not to mention it's difficult to get subtitles while doing this)

Also this is not an entitled rant,if you're a broken college student then sure do whatever you like

It's just that if you have the means to pay,then you should pay for it

Follow this principle... Keep The auto on the run... Never use an auto stand. Never say No No yo sny fare. Carry our own lunch n snacks including water. Build rapport with customer show them your honesty they will call you and give business.
