I was thinking about this today, I only watch this when I’m home for court vacations and I get really invested for that short period as well! I guess it works better because it’s more grounded, like the ones we grew up watching, than modern serials.

I dropped out from uni for the 2nd time (5th time college and uni combined) and by that time I was almost 30 and getting my mental health sorted out. A bunch of diagnosis as a result, so that pretty much sealed the deal that work was not in the cards for me. At least not a 'regular' job

I personally think blind support is something we observe in most cultures around the world but in India it's taken to the extreme for most things like actors,politicians,gender,native gods,foreign gods, influencers,teachers,coaches,athletes,sports(cricketover anything),etc.I can fill the character limit with examples but I am confident in saying that all of it is caused by biases weather people can recognise them or not.
Maybe for some people it started when she said something they agree with (confirmation bias) or they find her attractive or maybe a combination of both
