    I went to college and took unpaid internships until real places were willing to hire me. Still, I remember some jerk who wanted to chew me out in an interview after doing all that "I can see you're 27, why are you just now graduating, and whats with this gap from age 18 to 23" and he said that very angerly. This same jerk who doesn't want to give someone a chance will be mad at people who go on welfare instead. But that was only one interview, most don't care.
