The OP claims to be Odia himself.. plus the points presented are very harsh, but not exactly untrue. Living in denial will just hurt us more.. Our state has come forward in several aspects no doubt, but we still lag behind other states in infrastructure, IT, per capita income, etc..

I don't think religion is the sole reason for underdevelopment in our state.. but it certainly is used as a weapon by political parties to create divide and sow seeds of hate, be it amongst our own statesmen or our neighbours..

Depends on what you were pitching, and how far along you told them you were.

A VC is not going to steal your idea. They’ve got a million other startups pitching them, and some are going to sound close to what you’re pitching.

If you push for an NDA with a VC (unless it’s a term sheet) the VC is going to walk/ignore you.

If your idea is that good, then patent it.
