Wage slave jobs are a waste of time. There is some chance you will "climb the ladder" and become manager, but dealing with normie wagies is fucking horrible. Trust me. As the wagie worker, you don't realize how bad the person who manages wagie normies has it.

Wagie normies are a special breed of bad. They are unreliable, lazy, and compulsive liars. They are wagies not because they are socially inept or anxious, which is the case with most of the NEETs here, but because they're generally just bad in every other department. So why even bother trying to make a career with shit jobs, when the end goal (becoming manager) is bad. And again, that's assuming the local grocery store recognizes your great work ethic and promotes you. If you're socially inept you won't even be in that position.

Plumbing or electrical work would be decent job options, but you will have to do an apprenticeship. Those things will definitely prepare you and put you on a solid track. Pay is shit during that stage, but at least you'd get paid vs some college student who gets paid nothing and has to pay the institution for the priviledge of gaining "skills" (if I weren't dead inside I'd be letting out a laugh right now).

IT is saturated, or else 10 years ago I would have suggested that. Not necessarily software engineering work which everyone is lusting after but other support roles that would pay well without college degrees, that would have been great for a lot of the NEETs here.
