Back in 2018, I found out about this incident. So, A girl from the BTech program (I don’t remember her year) was harassed by a 3rd year law student. The BTech students, supporting their friend, went and beat up the law student, which led to his death. After that, the law students retaliated and killed two BTech students. The situation got so out of hand that people had to leave their hostels because there was random violence and vandalism everywhere. I’m not sure if the law student was attacked first or the BTech students, but I remember my boyfriend at the time, who was studying at KIIT, ran home and stayed there for a month to stay safe. It’s an old incident, so the details are a bit fuzzy, but I remember it very clearly
