Secondly US is and will be the center for technological advancements like AI, Quantum computing etc etc. so being diversified there helps.

Thirdly the INR depreciation isn't stopping anytime soon. So it's good to be diversified in some other markets.

If inr depreciate faster than usual like last one year then it’s kind of good hedge.

I didn’t invested in US stocks but planning to.

BTW Indian market is inflated heavily with debt/margin from last 1.5 years.

Hi OP, i would advice you to take a look at panvel, since you will be working from home 4 times a week, you can directly catch train which starts from panvel and goes to south Mumbai
The duration will take approximately 90-120mins but i guess you can either sleep or spend that amount of time inside train by doing something productive. The chances are high for you to get seat since the starting point is going to be panvel.
If you want a society which is near to station, the buildings are old.
But, if you can travel 3 km away from stations there are two good township society.
1) sai world city ( okay rent rates since it has lots of inventories and amenities)
2) marathon nexzone ( cheaper with clubhouse)
Dmart is hardly 1km away from these two townships.
