to be very honest if u have low means, kv/jnv is the best . if u have good enough resources good private schools are good.

but please consider the fact that in any situation ur child shouldnt feel like he is in the lower side or very higher side in terms of resources w.r.t other children.

having the safety net that he has access to all the resources available to other children drives confidence and having the reality check that there are still some higher place to go feeds the hunger to grow.

KV provides overall education, children get to interact with people from whole india meanwhile private schools comes with a large number of batch each year.

each one has its own advantages and disadvantages, how you deal with the child and understand his problems makes the difference.

though systems in india are made to cater larger audience and work for the overall benefit of the society and not the individual, its good but it hampers the growth of focused, hardworking and talented people.... ig u got the point :)

people at higher levels who can opt for home learning for their children are doing so...
it mostly depends on two three things:

1) is the env positive and encouraging (like children)
2) is the env motivating and supportive (higher goals should be considered achievable)
3) how u treat/deal with the child at home
