I have a total of 4 years of experience and I think , I can help you with some tips:

1. Good college and campus placement.

2. If you don't have point 1, then don't worry, it will take more time for you to reach the goal, but eventually you will if you follow the next steps.

3. Learn, create projects and do leetcode. Learning without projects will lead you nowhere , so yeah its very important. Leetcode , enables you to think deeply related to your core concepts and whether you have problem solving skills. It's not a competition.

4. Build your profile, add your project to gitHub and showcase your skills. You can do some entry level certifications to attract the hiring team. Generally in service based clients put some conditions for candidates, and in that generally you will find entry level certifications.

5. Entry level certifications are generally free to do. Such as azure fundamentals, aws etc. cloud mostly. (one hr asked me if i have HackerRank certification, i know its weird, but it what its)

6. Build your network and create your nice profile. Send cold mails to the HR team if you find any.opening. Mail should be written in a professional manner.

7. If you need to beg for a starting job. Then beg, it's not a problem. You shoud be needy as much as possible. Ego doesn't work in starting when you have nothing.

8. Try to get into mid scale or startups at starting. They will teach you alot, ALOT more Then service based companies. I have taken interviews from both categories and i can bet on startup or mid scale guys.

9. Be confident and learn everyday. Software engineering is not a one day job. It takes time. Keep yourself updated everyday and never stop learning new things.

10. Be respectful to society and animals.
