she's partially right, tbh most people really dont need foundation and just good moisturiser. i look cakey in foundation and really dont have any. i just apply blush, lipstick and eye makeup. part of it is because i dont find my exact shade but like, its not really that hard to find. indian makeup has never been obsessed with foundation as such. even when i see bridal makeup i hate seeing foundation cause its mostly 2x shade lighter! so i guess she is right about it but i also wonder that if anyone even in western country apply foundation so fondly apart from special occasions or such. like with the rise of clean girl makeup trends that surely didn't originate in india although have been here since alot time, i wonder if its really common there.

Honestly sometimes less is more, like look at her makeup in this picture, it would have been better if she would have toned down her makeup a bit

Such a shame as a woman myself.
