I’ll tell you why it’s likely because BCCI politics played a significant role in choosing a coach who hasn’t had any practical coaching experience and let’s be fair not exactly a top end cricket talent when he played in Gambhir.

There is no accountability or foresight into putting a championship team on the field by this inept cricket board.

All of the efforts of Ravi Shastri and Rahul Dravid are now about to be flushed down the drain by a coach who has done nothing to field a competitive Test squad in consecutive series.

On top of that observing Gambhir making nonsensical posts on social media?

He has achieved nothing and has the audacity to have attitude or any kind of hubris.

What an utter joke of basically doing nothing to further the legacy of a squad that has previously appeared in consecutive WC Test championships.

Now what? Aging players are expected to continue and perform like they did only 3 years ago and this from a country in India where talent is abundant? It’s inexcusable.

This from a player and coach who is completely underrated in Gambhir amd the BCCI sitting idly by to allow it to happen. Unless sweeping changes happen to compete for a championship in all formats I don’t see how the BCCI to continue to insult the fan base with these choices.

I wanna say this was my first experience with ui overhauls.

For a brief period of time it was "try the new layout" as an option, which I very adamantly avoided because I *hated* it. Then one day it was just the way it was now.

Every. Single. Category. Suddenly grouped into one.

Who the hell ever thought that was okay.
