The state government doesn’t want to conduct the BBMP elections because they don’t want entities more powerful than the state’s ruling party (whichever one) controlling Bangalore. 

If it weren’t for Central-level bodies like the Election Commission, and literally any tier of government above the state government, our states would have become the de-facto fiefdoms of some ruling families, since conducting state elections would become the responsibility of the state governments. 

Tell me more about “muh state autonomy” and “respecting” the “federal structure”. 🤡

You can say they vote, but as we literally just saw they are the easiest, thickest voting block in the United States so... what do Republicans have to worry about? They'll just shout about immigrant caravans, the price of eggs (or avocado toast), how the Democrats are literally Satan's minions on Earth, how transexuals are the greatest threat to humanity, and so on and so forth.

Meanwhile you have a half-Trillionaire out there buying up media companies and supporting fascism, who is actually paying to play with those with *actual* power and... you want to put him in the role of the guy that submits because Bane puts the back of their hand on his shoulder because he knows he's weak by comparison?

Like I said, seems backwards. More like Reddit wishes Elon were such a weak, feeble man with MAGA -- seriously, MAGA is Bane? -- able to put him in his place.

Number 2 is spot on. I’ve come across this several times. You want the current version to have a stable url. That pages content will be updated, and older versions are archived and given a new url.

I also copy and paste error codes straight into the search bar and usually end up on stack overflow, but honestly I’ve been using chatgpt a lot more these days to explain the errors in more detail.

I’m a newb so I do all my python stuff in google colab, and they’ve integrated Gemini to help debug my errors and it’s been amazing.

Omg so sorry but freezing is a normal response. This happened to me many years ago. It was not delhi but west bengal. And i was travelling with my parents and couldn’t even tell them because I didn’t know how to prove it. That guy was touching me while i was sat beside my mom. Both of us were sleeping. But for sure i didn’t sleep after i realised what was happening. I was a kid!
