From a new perspective - if someone comes up to me and says that I was given this thing as collateral after an argument, and now I want to return it... It does aound fishy. People actually forcefully detain mobiles, car keys, chains and what not.

Have u thought of alternative beach locations - diu Daman, Andaman, kanyakumari, udipi (malpe), lakshadweep. Goa is a terrible place for tourists rite now. Everything will be prices 3x 4x. These tour guys dont reveal which hotel is it. So its pretty complicated to trust them for Goa atleast.

No one knows how much longer the markets will fall. As someone who saw the crash of 2008, I can tell you that what happened in the last few months isn't really a 'crash'.

That said, if you're willing or can leave your money untouched for a period of 10 years, don't worry, you'll make money. If you think you will need this money, better book profits in the few that are still making money or close to breaking even and put it in an FD.

A lot of people have been telling that the markets are ripe for a crash for years now... People were saying that the markets are overvalued at levels that were seen in 2023. For a lot of us, it was like telling people not to buy Ola scooters and yet seeing everyone go buy in droves.

My guess is that there is a long way to go down. Again, no one can exactly predict when it will crash. It may even go up again and touch new highs in the coming months. But the general expectation is that whenever it does crash, it will be a bigger crash than that of 2008.
