The awful Aeromall-Airport situation
It's an awful, awful situation there. Borderline scammy. I don't understand why that cab location is THAT far away. And don't get me started on the prices which are easily 30% hiked in the apps. And you'd have to wait for a good 15-20 mins just to get a cab, if you are lucky. One driver told me they usually reject if the distance is around 10-12 kms, cause that is pretty "near".
I recently had the misfortune of going there last week, my mother had injured her leg near Bengaluru so she was on a wheelchair. The aeromall guys seemed pretty helpful initially, asked us to book a cab and call it right outside, near the gate and not go in the mall. The driver came, and when we started to go out, the security guards outside starting demanding a "fine" of Rs. 300 from us, cause going from there is not allowed and they wanted some receipt from the driver for a wheelchair patient, which the driver didn't get when he was entering the airport. After arguing for like 5 mins, they let us go when we threatened to go back and check inside on why the driver was allowed without any receipt. I truly think there are multiple scams going on there. -

Why the fxxx these people bring shame to India?
7 years of prison and fine or both for a 500 USD tie clip!
We can take cues on how strict the punishment should be for such crimes, but how can we ever implement it with a broken judiciary 😞 -

As of 2025, approximately 28% of American adults, or about 65 million people, own cryptocurrencies, reflecting a significant increase in adoption since 2021, when only 15% reported ownership
>We conducted an internet-based survey of 1,969 American adults in December 2024. The respondents’ ages, genders, and ethnic backgrounds were representative of the American population. 557 (28%) respondents owned cryptocurrency.
No indication that this is controlled for income/wealth, technical proficiency, education, etc. Further, an internet survey by definition would be skewed for access to and propensity to use the internet. -

Do Lehnda Punjabis Celebrate Vaisakhi/Baisakhi?
Vaisakhi is more popular in East Punjab because of its association with the formation of the Khalsa panth. Otherwise it's largely a peasant festival which hasn't really received much patronage from the urban Punjabis. -

How hard is it to do SEO for businesses today?
SEO in my opinion is still viable thing for companies. So my idea is that once companies start spending on any ads for their customer acquisition, which each campaign CAC will increase meaning you have to either enter new markets constantly or find new channels to acquire those clients. SEO comes in hand because it reduces the whole marketing CAC if done properly.
I do understand a lot of folks here worry about the recent updates, but while reviewing all the companies I worked with I saw that info pages are the ones who are getting hit the most by those updates. While money (landing) pages still performing same as usual.
I talked with my few SEO colleagues in top200 companies and they all saying the same, info pages are now only the support pages for landing pages, they shouldn't bring that much traffic and they shouldn't convert.
In your case if you run <insert niche> blogs with a lot of information pages, you will feel the updates most painfully.
BTW folks been saying that SEO is dead since <insert any year>. While I still bringing bottom line sales results for my clients.
EDIT: LMK if anyone else feeling differently. -
Most writers are terrible at blog introductions
As a freelance writer, the guy I write blog posts for pointed this out a while back, ever since we adopted to this style, engagement and retention rate has been much better. In fact it has shot up 70% in the last three months.
Apparently readers can tell whether an article is AI generated from the very first paragraph, the intro is absolutely KEY and I'm glad we managed to nail that.
