The first time I tried Haleem was from Sharief Briyani. I really like their stuff, especially their grape juice. I generally find Haleem to be a bit heavy, especially as a side for Briyani, but otherwise I like it's taste.

I used to be a huge Behrouz Briyani guy until I realised that they were actually a cloud kitchen, and cloud kitchens don't inspire any confidence in me.

What sucks the most is when your idea gets invalidated through attempts at pre-selling because the fun is in the building and there’s always that thought in the back of your mind that somehow if you built it people would get it. So there’s lingering doubt.

Of course when we build it anyway, we’re still wrong. Hahah. Gotta love getting stuck in cognitive bias.

Another hard thing is trying to find ways to pre-sell outside of the typical landing pages and ads. You’re trying things that others won’t for a reason. But it gets lonely have a contrarian assumption and trying to hack your way into new channels.
