I know things look like there is nothing on your team now. Adversity brings out the best in people sometimes. Having a primary source of income is always a safe option but if you feel like you need to quit, make sure your finances are good enough to support you and your family for at least 3 months.

My suggestion would be to start a side hustle on weekends to make some money slowly. I know that the initial capital and things could be difficult but let's assume that you start a side job like being an Amazon re-seller or something, once you set it up, it starts making small bits of profit with every purchase of the products. Take the profits and invest them in places with a definite long-term gain like Index funds etc. This is something that I did when I was a student and working a part-time job. It helped me. If you are good at data entry, there are jobs for that too.
