I am reposting this question here once again, because I am in the throes of depression, to the point that I feel I am losing my sanity. I have kept a 40-days sankalp for VS, to achieve something that is very dear to me and my family. I am on Day 16. I have zero confidence in achieving the said goal, because of the fear of past failures. No spiritual discourse, no comforting words from family is working for me. I cry to God in the nights when in bed. I haven't slept for nearly two nights. To top this, I am feeling extreme jealousy towards friends and relatives who have what I want. I don't want to be this person, but I am extremely angry, agitated, and depressed. This is also putting a strain on my marriage with my wonderful husband, who has given me so much love and care. I do not understand how to live on.
