My girlfriend and I literally just moved into a new apartment around the new year. When we got here just a month and a half ago, multiple things (most notably eggs and several produce items) were nearly half what they are right now, and almost everything has gone up in price at least a little bit.

I can not justify $9 for a carton of eggs. We got them for a third of that when I was little. I'm only 19.

A genuine guy will never try to threaten anybody in the situation he was telling so, 100% scam. And even if was true, this is not your responsibility, he is a son of that mother. He can loot any bank, why should threaten a kid.
