I studied economics as well after fighting a shit load with my parents. Now, I am doing my PhD outside India and I fucking love it. Every time I talk to my cousins, they seem so sad, the light in their eyes is almost gone. One of my cousins even worked on Christmas and New year's.

I am so thankful to my younger self for fighting her way through. You should always fight for what you want, don't let your parents decide for you.
