I got into a long debate with a maga family member and they’re now saying that those laid off at the federal level need to get a real job and when told that will increase unemployment benifits, they’re answer is “doge will take care of it.”

They’re also interested in abolishing usps because it doesn’t turn a profit and Elon said it can be cut. When asked if the mail carriers should get a real job, they said yes.

When asked if the military should be defunded since they turn a profit, they say no.
