  5. Is it possible to raise capital in the adult industry? "I will not promote"

    4 months
As someone who’s seen many pitches, here’s the reality: raising capital in the adult industry is doable, but it’s an uphill battle. The moment you mention “adult,” many VCs’ eyes glaze over—not necessarily because your idea isn’t solid, but because many institutional LPs impose strict vice clauses that prevent funds from investing in “vice” sectors. These restrictions mean most traditional VC firms either pass outright or ask you to pivot your messaging. But some comments already mentioned this here.

For example, platforms like OnlyFans or Slushy have managed to raise money, but they’ve done so from specialized investors who either operate in high-risk spaces or don’t have the same PR baggage. That’s a very small subset of the investment world. When you pitch with an offshore holding structure in the Caymans and an operating company in Cyprus, it might look smart from a tax perspective—but it can also raise red flags about transparency and regulatory complexity for cautious investors.

    The key is to overprepare:

Mitigate PR and Legal Risks: Having top adult-industry lawyers on board is a good start, but you need to clearly articulate how you’re addressing regulatory compliance (FTC/SEC, payment processor challenges, etc.) to minimize risk.

Reframe Your Pitch: Emphasize that your technology and business model are robust enough to operate in multiple sectors—not just adult. The more you can shift the conversation to tech and enterprise value, the more palatable it becomes.

Target the Right Investors: Look for angels or funds that specialize in or are open to “nontraditional” sectors (there are even databases listing adult investors). These investors are generally more comfortable with the nuances and can see the ROI potential despite the inherent risks.

Be Honest About Valuation: Be aware that exit opportunities and valuations in this space are often less attractive compared to other tech sectors, so you’ll need a very clear and realistic financial plan.

    Good luck to you.

  9. Penn Badgley plays a psychopathic serial killer in a popular Netflix series called You. When asked about how he feels regarding the acceptance his character receives, this is what he had to say, something we would never hear from actors closer home. Thoughts?

Yall keep yapping about Vanga movies and then also get mad about how much clout they have. Kabir Singh was 6 years ago and Animal was a mediocre male power fantasy released in 2023. Let it rest.
  10. NEETs who had to start working, how do you handle it?

It gets better the longer you do it. You're basically practicing right now. Rough start, but you got this! Hell, the fact that you showed up to the training shift at all is pretty crazy, as you said. And I'm assuming you made it through the shift? Even better. Slow and steady my friend.
  11. Got Fooled by Wine Shop Owner, Ended Up Paying a 5K Fine and had all bottles taken away

    4 months
Couple years back faced the same situation. Me and a couple of friends had 4 bottles while returning from Goa. Same owner giving the licence story. Maamu caught on check post as soon as entering MH and was not letting off. Spoke to him in Marathi and told him we are not leaving without bottles and requested continuously. Had around 40 mins argument. Bribed him with exactly ₹2660 all the cash we had. Meanwhile he caught 2 other cars and emptied their bottles in front of us literally. Finally after more convincing and requesting, we were off the hook, while he chose to keep the small tester bottles we brought as souvenirs. Escaped any check on the second post. Guess we just had our lucky day !
  12. Literally got no friends to talk to right now

Sleeping early is always a good idea. 11-11:30 tak so jaao to badhiya hai varna uske baad neend naa aaye na toh band bajj jaati hai. Living here for the last 20 years. Almost sab jaa chuke hain. Naye, purane, sab. Now that' I'm at the age jahan almost sabki shaadiyan ho rahi hain (talking about my friends) and I'm stuck here without anyone to talk to. Lost a few late night chatters. Late night choddo, hangout karne wale bhi nikal gaye hain yaar. 1-2 din ke liye unke saath kahin aa jaa sakte ho but then again fir lagta hai ki apne boredom mein inko involve kyu kar rahe hain?? Bhale hi vo aapko full warmth ke saath invite karein but you just repress yourself from joining them. And fir wahi aa jaata hai..........main aur meri tanhai.
  13. "When it’s Dalit women, in general the outrage is less across the country"

    4 months
Oh wow, it's almost like atrocities against Dalit and minority women are just part of the 'natural order' here, right? Every year, the same reports, the same NCRB data screaming the same truth—'most victims are Dalit, Adivasi, and from minority groups'—but hey, who’s listening? Not the candle marchers, not the outrage brigade.

Funny how some cases light up the nation, while others barely make it past a local news ticker. Almost as if... caste and religion decide whose pain matters. But shhh, let’s not say that too loud.

And these criminals? The ones who attack Dalits and minorities? They just slip right through the cracks—charges vanish, bail comes easy. Magic, isn’t it?

But wait, where are the police reform demands? Where are the justice rallies for the ‘wrong kind’ of victims? Oh right, outrage is selective. We don’t see women first as humans, we see their caste, their religion. And then we decide if they deserve justice.

So tell me, how long before we stop pretending? How long before ‘human first’ isn’t just a pretty lie?

( LOOK AT COMMENT SECTION TO KNOW THE CONTEXT OF THE COMMENT)

    RIP

    HUMANITY
  14. How is the Kamika Agama seen among Shaktas

    4 months
dunno about shaktas, but kamika agama is mentioned in vamakeshvara tantra and kulachudamani tantra 1.7 which is an authentic, shri vidya parampara related agama grantha. sooooo shiv shiv shiv i think kamika agama should be very authentic, and the agama is actually very beautiful with a wide range of interesting topics to cover, for example upanayana of shudra ( agamokta upanayana ), lingadharana vidhi of different varnas, chandeshvara shiva and shiva nirmaalya, it clears a doubt about padma puran's particular verse too where it said one shouldn't accept offering of shiva. so yeah, a pretty interesting grantha with a lot of jnaana in it.

  20. The Srimad Bhagavatam is The Literary Form of Lord Krishna

    4 months
Yes. Some Vaishnava sects consider it the word-image of God, or God in the form of words. Although, I don't know the exact verse where it is stated in the Bhagavata. I know the idea is mentioned in the Padma Purana. But in which verse exactly is this idea mentioned in the Bhagavatam?
