Champions Trophy in Pakistan was a disaster. It only hurt ODI cricketâs popularity. Pakistanâs early exit meant near empty stands for the rest. Just 15 matches, 10 in Pakistan, and 2 already washed out. Poor crowds, poor stadiums, poor facilities. ICC, why did you even give them hosting rights?
ICC keeps paying PCB a huge amount as a full member, but the problem is, theyâre not using it for cricketâtheyâre just filling their own pockets. Corruption runs deep, politics is everywhere, domestic cricket is a joke, and the whole system is broken. This is why Iâm against giving them money or hosting rights. Theyâre not adding anything to cricket, just ruining it. Why donât people get this? And everyone knows BCCI is the biggest contributor to ICCâs money.
