Allocate the majority into an Index fund or a low cost MF, say 80%. Use the rest to test out your trading strategies and be okay with losing it completely. Stay away from F&O.

Parking 100% into an index fund and testing out strategies with a virtual account would probably be smarter.

People demonize h1b visa holders and while the system has been abused and like all things needs regulation, it also has been a vital mechanism for bringing top talent to the US that has driven economic and scientific progress. 

Being able to bring highly trained and skilled workers together yields global dividends in scientific progress. 

Of course we need comprehensive reform. There needs to be honest talk too. The US cannot take every asylum seeker. We also have economic and social needs too. 

That means comprehensive reform that factors in things like guest worker programs, agricultural/ fisheries work needs, as well as highly skilled labor on the other end. 

Plus it does mean welcoming in refugees but with screening, in sustainable numbers and measures in place to facilitate assimilation. 
Plus it means policing the border and people who overstay visas on one hand and a reasonable path to citizenship for people already here who are law abiding residents. 

Finally it also means domestic and foreign policy that stabilizes other countries in central and South America and invests in them as partners rather than what has happened historically. 

Everyone just plans to leave no one wants to find a solution 🙃 no doubt we common people can hardly do anything but at least we can/should start something and do it in such a way that the domino effect will eventually succeed in fulfilling our moto. I understand these words are easy to say(here type) then to actually do something but we gotta do something someday. I'm a BJP supporter but in these days after looking what all is going on I started to doubt like what our government is really doing. I still have some hope on our government let's see and do something side by side.

It’s the force urbania , manufactured here in India . About time force put some attention to the aesthetics of this people mover , the old traveller looked like it was conceptualised in the 80-90s.
