I don't know the situation tbh,but as someone who have worked in service sector. It is often that waiters get mixed up orders when people are in a big group .

The fact that they corrected the bill without questioning it for a second I see as a good thing, and it is something that is trained to give a good customer experience.

Unless they are doing the same to everyone there is no need to get worried, this might be a honest mistake.

You need to increase your ride awareness. Seeing a truck goin right means there is an obstruction on the left lane. Also slow your speed when you cannot see much ahead. In this case you were unaware what was on the lane when truck got cleared of the view.

Keep a minimum of 70 m distance and tailgate at lower speeds.....you will have more reaction time....observe how vehicles ahead of you are behaving (like avoiding potholes,animals,etc.)
