I have been strongly opposing the samacheer kalvi thing that came into matric schools. At the time, being a CBSE student and a medical aspirant meant I had to give NEET/ AIIMS to get in. And these people got in easily. The problem is, most of them (not everyone) were only mugging up answers. I remember the numerous hostels in Erode/ Salem advertising as the best schools to produce toppers in the state etc. And when I went into Engineering, I saw the same. There were proper toppers too who didn’t mug it all up from Matric schools, but many of them had higher cut offs than mine and couldn’t even do the basic. Their only aim was to get marks. And as expected, they were not placed. The goal of bringing samacheer kalvi was to make education the same across the state. Instead it became something else.

Yes, I would sell my first bike. I love the bike. I enjoy riding it. But if need be, I will sell it. Because at the end of the day, it's just another tool for me to get work done / enjoy my life. If it doesn't solve that purpose, then it's of no value to me
