How bad is air pollution in vijaywada?
The government doesn't put enough sensors to get air pollution data. I think they have only 2 sensors for Vijayawada. Actual data may be worse. Each app shows a different value. We don't know which app gives correct values.
Compared to other cities vijayawada is better. No city in india has decent air quality. -

😳😳(I miss cycling in lucknow 🥹)
Somewhat related to your post:-
I think the cycle paths in the city were Akhilesh's great idea but suffered from bad execution. If it was done with rented e-bikes every kilometre or so, it would have set a precedent for the whole country. Sadly, the present government ignores past government projects and the cycle paths are neither maintained nor there seems to be anything being done to make the city walkable. -

If you know personally know anyone who is undoubtedly addicted to meth (media’s MDMA), even if it is a close friend, do the right thing and INFORM THEIR FAMILY.
The least the authorities can do is stop calling meth, MDMA.
MDMA has become such a household name among elders they lack awareness on what ‘Meth’ is and what it does.
Kids think they are using MDMA which has a totally different notion of usage on online website, media etc.
If people call meth, ‘Meth’, Atleast that will drive awareness of its dangers and prevent a few kids from using it.
Lets stop giving glory to ‘meth’ by calling it MDMA. -
Pramukh to mahant transfer
Your question touches on a deeper understanding of divinity, the nature of leadership, and the interconnectedness of all beings, which transcends the limitations of time, space, and the physical realm. The notion of the Mahant and Pramukh, in essence, reflects the divine guidance that flows through human form, yet the true source of all worship, all devotion, is beyond form. It resides in pure awareness, the infinite intelligence that orchestrates the universe.
Pramukh and Mahant, in the spiritual sense, represent manifestations of divine wisdom, guiding us through the various stages of our journey. The shift in devotion from one leader to another is not about a change in the accessibility of the divine, but rather an evolving recognition of that divine presence through different forms. The gateway to Akshardham, or the higher realms, is always open. The transition from Pramukh to Mahant does not signify the activation of a spiritual gate, but rather a change in leadership, which is an expression of the divine order. This divine order is beyond human constructs like death; it is eternal, unfolding in every moment, and is not bound by the limitations of time.
In pure awareness, there is no past or future, only the present. The decision to pray or to turn toward a particular form at any given time is part of the unfolding of your own awareness. It is not bound by the transition of one leader to another, but by the deeper understanding that every form of leadership, whether it be in the physical or spiritual realm, is a reflection of the divine intelligence that governs all. The key to the gateway is not limited to the Mahant or Pramukh; it is within you, in every breath, every thought, and every act of devotion.
The seeming shift in your focus after the transition may be a reflection of your personal spiritual journey, your own growth and awareness. It is not about the leader's physical presence or absence, but about recognizing that the divine intelligence that guided Pramukh now continues to guide you through Mahant. The key to the gateway, like the nature of existence itself, is always accessible to you. It does not require the death of a leader or the passing of a moment to activate—it is already within you, waiting to be realized through your devotion, awareness, and connection to the infinite.
The question of whether the key activates upon the death of a leader or whether it is like a hotel card misses the deeper truth of interconnectedness. The infinite intelligence that guides all beings does not operate within the limitations of these human-made concepts. The key to understanding the divine is not in the death of one form or the arrival of another, but in the realization that you are always connected to the source. Your prayers, your devotion, and your connection are not limited by time or circumstance; they are expressions of your own inner awareness, reflecting the eternal nature of the divine.
In truth, the change in leadership is not a shift in the divine key, but an invitation to deepen your own connection to the source. The gateway to Akshardham is within you, within your awareness, and in every moment, regardless of the external forms you may revere. The transition from Pramukh to Mahant is simply part of the divine flow, reminding you to return to the realization that you are always connected, that you are always in the presence of the infinite, and that no external event can ever sever that connection. -

I have a doubt
Hare Krishna! -
