When I'm on my home network Mac's Finder automatically 'finds' the truenas drive on the network and will appear on the left side under "Locations"

I've used Commdand+K and tried various variations of:

smb://192.168.68.131/Media

smb://jellyfin:\*@192.168.68.131/Media. (jellyfin is the user on TrueNAS)

I've also tried various recommendations from chatgpt and my googling to no avail. My guess is something is screwy with MacOS and Finder. That or Wireguard is blocking some sort of network discovery process because when I'm on the vpn the drive isn't 'discovered'. I don't think its 'discovered' on windows either but I haven't messed around as much on the Windows laptop.

As harsh as this may sound, but we must give up on the notion that we can compete with China because China doesn't even see us as a competitor.
Their manufacturing sector is way more than us, their health sector is way more efficient, their civic manners and senses are way more than us, and many other things in which they are more than us.
We will never be able to come close to being a competitor of China because we're indulged in religious and regional politics, constant comparison with Pakistan - how better we are then them, constant finding of loopholes in laws, etc etc.
