It's common at both small firms and large corporates where sometime power gets concentrated with one person or few individuals. But there's another angle to it as well. There are always some females who use their "charm" to get thing done and get through things. These type of women indirectly encourage men to go after innocent girls as well. Also some female bosses ask their male subordinates to satisfy them to get career on correct course. Best strategy is to keep eyes open and avoid working with individuals with shallow reputation.
